Therapedic Mattress Guide
Like most mattress manufacturers, the Therapedic mattress company promises exceptional comfort, durability and support. It's also important that any mattress you buy provides these features for many years in to the future.
Therapedic mattresses are engineered to provide you with years of use, but come at an affordable price. Some cheap mattresses do seem tempting to buy, but the support needs to last if you are going to make a wise investment.
Let's review each of the available mattress models from Therapedic to see some of their features. There are 6 series that are currently available; the Kathy Ireland, MemoryTouch, AirTouch, Innergy, PureTouch and Lloyd & Penfield.
Features of Therapedic Mattresses
Kathy Ireland
The Kathy Ireland mattress series includes 5 lines:
- The Essentials line features an alternating coil design, reduced motion transfer, is optimized for back and spine support, includes a foam encasement for edge-to-edge sleeping area, and has an ergonomic comfort layer.
- The Gallery line includes the Tranquility Cushion Firm, Wiltshire Visco Pillowtop, Buenos Dias Latex Pillowtop and Grand Residence Micro Coil Pillowtop mattress. They contain a high density alternating coil in addition to the features found in the Essentials series.
- The First Lady mattresses are made with natural latex which instantly conforms to the contours of your body. These mattresses are anti-microbial, breathable and resistant to dust mites.
- The European Country Royal Trellis and American Style Garden Themes models from the J Du J line of mattresses contain memory foam for conforming support. They are designed with colorful garden theme covers and are available in 4 sizes; twin, full, queen and king.
- The last in the Kathy Ireland series is the A Cafe line. This set includes the Main St. Cafe Firm, Paradise Cafe Plush and Vienna Cafe Pillowtop. All three use an open coil design which offers effective support, and attractive mocha designer covers. For added comfort the upholstery is high density.
MemoryTouch
The MemoryTouch mattress is manufactured using the popular memory foam material. This material is able to respond to body heat, conforming to the shape of your back and spine and providing superior support.
The technology focuses on providing even weight distribution, which reduces pressure points, increases circulation to aching muscles, and allows uninterrupted sleep.
Back pain is a common complaint, which is why memory foam mattresses like the MemoryTouch are increasing in popularity. This range includes sizes varying from twin to king for all the 4 available models; Sunrise, Sunset, Dawn and Twilight.
AirTouch
The Therapedic AirTouch mattress is a highly customizable product. In fact, Therapedic themselves call this model "The world's most advanced, multizone, programmable air mattress".
This mattress features 6 zones (3 on either side) that can be configured to the exact firmness you desire. These aren't permanent either as you can adjust the settings at any time with the programmable controller.
Innergy
For improved support and reduced motion transfer when sleeping, the Innergy mattress uses an alternating coil design instead of the standard innerspring. Some of the Innergy models feature extra comfort layers from viscoelastic, latex or polyurethane for additional pressure relief.
The TheraFoam encasement helps eliminate the loss of border support, increasing the sleeping surface area.
PureTouch
For the highest pressure relieving qualities, PureTouch mattresses use pure latex foam. Whereas many mattresses are a simple single zoned structure, the PureTouch is zoned in to 7 areas. These include the head, neck, shoulder, lumbar, hip, leg and foot area.
This design aims to match your body with the correct level of support and comfort from head to toe.
Lloyd & Penfield
One of the most luxurious lines from the Therapedic mattress range is the Lloyd & Penfield. This series includes 4 models in queen and king size; the Hillshire, Haddon Hall, Kensington and Lincolnshire.
The Lloyd & Penfield range make use of an advanced 660 alternating coil unit with edge support. These mattresses also arrive with a 20-year warranty to safeguard against any defects in workmanship or material.
