The Posturepedic label can be a bit confusing at first, as many people think that it is one particular collection under the Sealy brand. However, Sealy Posturpedic is the generic term given to a whole range of the company's mattresses. One of the things present in all mattresses from Sealy is the comfort system. This includes using advanced innerspring technology which provides orthopedically correct support, a durable edge design and advanced comfort materials.

The Reserve series is also an innerspring mattress, but includes memory foam (see memory foam mattress) as well. It is also similar to the Preffered series in that it has the same comfort choices to select from.

The main difference is that the Reserve series uses the same 3-zone pressure relief system, but with memory foam, and a UniCased XT design. This apparently provides more support around the edging of the mattress.

The boxspring choices are the same, but starting height for the actual mattress begins at 12 inches.

Sealy Posturepedic Signature Series

The Posturepedic Signature mattress has an innerspring with memory foam and latex. Of course, the aim is to provide the user with even more comfort and support.

Like other mattresses in the Posturepedic line, the Signature has the same comfort choices, however the top layer can come in eurotop, regular and box top. The comfort materials feature a 7-zone pressure relief inlay that not only adds latex comfort around the hips, but also provides memory foam support in the head, back and knee area of the mattress.

This series from Sealy (sometimes misspelt Sealey) has the same UniCased XT edge support, but mattress height starts at 13 inches for the Signature series.

As you might expect, there are a variety of mattress sizes available in the Sealy Posturepedic set. All of the series can be bought in twin, full, queen, split queen, king and California King size.
